And for the awards of the top 5 Viral Infectious disease between 2019 - 2022, the winners are...

2. The evolving Monkeypox virus
3. The emerging Congo Virus in Iraq
4. The hepatitis viruses
5. The EBV reactivated... It's a shame that....we didn't invest in protecting our species against deadly infections, instead invested in wars.

SARS-CoV-2 RNA in the Cerebrospinal Fluid of a Patient with Long COVID
Case report
On 1 October 2020, a 42-year-old woman had a positive SARS-CoV-2 RT-PCR assay from her nasopharyngeal swab. At the time, she reported only cough and diarrhea. On 23 November 2020, she had a recurrence of her previous mild viral illness-related symptoms and also developed a loss of smell and taste: her nasopharyngeal antigen test for SARS-CoV-2 was positive. Two weeks later, she became fatigued and developed anxiety, palpitations,

Drug Discovery in Long-COVID: Ongoing Approach and Future possibilities
This thread shares the thoughts on the possible treatment options for Long-COVID. The SARS-CoV-2 and its encoding proteins have now been established as a cause of many acute COVID-19 symptoms.. ..that individuals have been seen to carry into the chronic phase of Long-COVID. Though caused by an initial SARS-CoV-2 infection, the protracted illness that follows after acute COVID has caused an illness called Long-COVID in millions of individuals.

Caution Advised: There are others
1/3
I slept a few hours after being awake, with the ways of helping Long-COVID in my mind. I have a dream recall, as if I was in few years ahead of the present day. There were some non humans behind me as I was guiding them somewhere. Long walk, but I was like to take them to a place where I wanted them to be..
I at last reached there, and stopped, and the ones behind me said, what?
I took them into a place, like a big hall, low lights, where many needing help were stationed, lying restless in there beds...

Though I thought the links to not one, but 3 different R&D resources could help, but it has put in a huge emotional pressure... on me. I am and will remain dedicated to all those who have DM me and will take their calls and advise. Also, it is my heartfelt commitment to do remarkable things for my Long-COVID family that will continue. Please forgive me on this, please.

6. Peripheral and central autonomic nervous system dysregulations
1/3 How the ANS works? The highest centers are in the brain (red-yellow and green areas) on the left including the brainstem. The lower centers are in the spinal cord - thoracic and sacral segment (right panel) ANS outflow is called sympathetic and parasympathetic nerves (right panel) which after passing through swellings called ganglia go innervate the organs. SARS-CoV-2 mediated direct or inflammatory injury can:
1.Affect the brain centers
2.The spinal cord neurons
3.Ganglion

Results of Drugs proposed to enter Clinical Trials in Long-COVID
Shown is how SARS-CoV-2 infects the human cells by engaging a specific part of the S1 protein called RBM (Green star) and the Results of drug docking and in vitro results of the drugs proposed on SARS-CoV-2. These are FDA-approved non-antiviral drugs to target the RBM of SARS-CoV-2 that binds to ACE2 to enter human cells. When tested in vitro (Petri dishes) and compared to Remdesivir they have shown to block SARS-CoV-2 cellular entry between 97%-100% (Red star) in the tweet above.

SARSCoV2 can cause a transient ischemic attack-TIA, a mini stroke. If in Long-COVID you notice any of the following, you should not panic (which itself is harmful) but seek an attention ASAP. By inducing vasculitis SARSCoV2 evokes thrombus formation in brain arteries > TIA. Image Of variable duration:
Head and Neck – the face may deflect to one side, changed smile, eye changes, pupil diameter gone uneven
Body – One may not be able to lift arms and legs for a while.
Speech – speech may be slurred.
Loss of consciousness for a short duration..with recovery.

If a person with COVID-19 or Long-COVID feels acute pain in the calf during a test as shown in image. Please don't walk fast after that as it maybe a sign of a big blood clot in leg vein that can travel to your heart and threat your life. Also don't be bed ridden for longer.... ..as it invites development of the leg clot (thrombus) called as DVT (deep vein thrombosis).

Hi Guys, Today I completed the slides that were needed to be posted as a video on YouTube on " The Microclots in COVID-19 and Long-Hauler". A friend here at Twitter requested for subtitles to be added to a previous video posted on YouTube, so I thought to post it here as a thread 1/10
