Onana for example—hasn’t had a good start by any means, making mistakes, looks shaken.

But he rarely looked like this at Inter, why?

A setup which enhanced their exceptional defensive strengths / box defending / leadership / compactness/ physicality.

United don’t have that.
Image Listen, Onana isn’t the best shot stopper and isn’t in an elite bracket like Alisson is.

But that’s part of his skillset, so develop a system to that deficiency.

Ensure your team is compact, have good box defenders, have more in possession control to limit opposition shots…
