I joined my colleagues from the State Department and White House today for a conversation at @USIP about how we’ve advanced @POTUS’s Indo-Pacific Strategy over the last two years.

We’ve just wrapped up a week of historic senior-leader engagements for the U.S.-Japan Alliance — from the Pentagon to the State Department to the White House.
One thing is clear: The Alliance is already stronger than it’s ever been, and it’s getting even stronger.
On Wednesday, @SecDef Austin joined @SecBlinken and their Japanese counterparts for a meeting of the U.S.-Japan Security Consultative Committee – the 2+2 – and advanced key bilateral initiatives to build a more capable, integrated, and agile Alliance. defense.gov/News/Releases/…
