The central message in Juz 4 is that to be successful, 4 qualities are needed:

- Patience
- Perseverance
- Vigilance
- Mindfulness of God

This is summed in the final verse of Aal Imran

Patiently endure, persevere, stand on guard, & be mindful of Allah, so you may be successful For Prophet Ibrahim to establish to the House of Allah, he required these qualities.

For him to establish the path of Haneefiyyah, he required these qualities.

Juz 3 contains the greatest verse of the Quran - Ayat Al Kursi.

This verse contains the greatest name of Allah which if invoked, He responds and if asked with, He gives.

Al Hayy Al Qayyum - the Ever Living, All Sustaining. “Al Hayy" includes all the attributes of perfection that are necessary for it, meaning that God is perfect in every way and possesses all the attributes that are necessary for being “The Ever Living”

Juz 2 is probably the most Fiqh dense Juz in the Quran.

You’ll find discussed the Fiqh of:

- Prayer
- Fasting
- Hajj/Umrah
- Jihad
- Retribution/Hudood
- Inheritance/Testaments
- Intoxicants/Gambling
- Marriage, Sex & Menses
- Divorce
- Breastfeeding
- The waiting period

Etc., It starts off however with the changing of the Qiblah.

The wisdom behind why they were originally commanded to face the old Qibla & then repeatedly told to change to a new Qibla was to distinguish those who would remain faithful to the Messenger from those who would lose faith.

The crimes of Bani Isra’il in Juz 1:

- Commands good but don’t do it themselves

- Worshipped the calf

- Said they wouldn’t believe until they actually saw God

- Refused to say what God told them to say and instead said something else

- Could not remain patient with one food - Killed prophets

- Disbelieved in God’s signs

- Turned away from the covenant they gave

- Violated the Sabbath

- Purposely dragged their feet & stalled when commanded to sacrifice a cow

- Killed a man

- Hearts harder than stone

- Twisted and distorted the word of God

“it’s “Muslim red pill podcasters” who speak to kuffar about “submissive muslim women” that made them desire us”

Yh no don’t pull wool over our eyes.

These “podcasters” were irrelevant pre-2020 and these Kuffar were still all over Twitter & social media doing the same thing “It’s men fault since they left Jihad and cannot control their women”

This is the fundamental root for all of our problems which anyone who has followed this account should know we hold.

Your root is from Adam but that doesn’t contradict that you have an immediate mom & dad

Funny how these women cry about how serious we should take “mental health” but when studies show that a man witnessing childbirth can be traumatic and leave some men mentally scarred which can last way beyond that incident, these women belittle it 😆 As usual women are in the replies getting emotional, personal or arguing a strawman.

Relax, take a deep breath and understand what has actually been said.

Some reflections on the “How philosophy overcame my doubts” video The context is there was a back and forth between some “Salafis” and some individuals behind that podcast on the issue of using philosophy in dawah

So a guest who used to be a Salafi is then brought on to show how “Salafism” didn’t help him whereas philosophy did.

What is the authenticity of this Hadith? Image It could be said that it’s weak due to the presence of Abu Khalaf Al A’ma who is Matruk.

Yahya b. Ma’een labelled him a liar.
Abu Hatim said he is Munkar Al Hadith.
Al Dhahabi said he is Layyin.

Similarly, Mu’aan b. Rifa’ah is Layyin Al Hadith and some have weakened him.

A brother asked me to comment on the claims that the people of Lut were actually engaging in male rape and not same-sex intimacy.

This understanding of the story is problematic from a 'progressive' pov as mentioned by progressives themselves. Male anal rape = non-consensual sexual violation.

If Prophet Lut was rebuking his people for non-consensual sexual violations and not same-sex intimacy, it means that Lut believed "consent" must be a requirement for lawful sexual relations.

"The ˹worthless˺ residue is then cast away, but what benefits people remains on the earth. This is how Allah sets forth parables" This is a parable that compares the action of one who shows off or does things with doubt with the action of one who has certainty and sincerity.

The believer who acts sincerely and with certainty, his action is like those beneficial things that remain on the earth.

"Why didn't Islam explicitly prohibit slavery?"

Before asking this (and other questions related to Shubuhat that one may have), ask yourself these questions:

- Do I hate Allah's Legislation? If so, why?
- What sin did I do that made it difficult for me to believe and submit? - Why is it difficult for me to accuse myself when it is easy for me to accuse Islam?
- Did Satan make me slip through some of my sins?
- Did my watching of western movies/shows etc. make it difficult for me to accept the truth?

Why are there so many reports on "obeying the ruler"?

Because the preservation of the 'five maqasid' rest on unity and togetherness under the banner of the ruler who rules in accordance to the law of God. A brother sent me an extra benefit in the answer to this question.

When one contemplates over the verses & Ahadith that contain terms such as:

- Caliph
- Sultan
- Wali
- Ameer
- Haakim

You find that Allah connects faith related concepts to these names

If one focuses on improving these four traits, they will see a marked improvement in their character.

- Patience
- Chastity
- Bravery
- Justice - Patience

To obtain patience requires one to go through trials.

By going through these trials, one will feel empathy towards what others are going through which leads them to try and protect others from harm reaching them via his side.

The first few pages of Aal Imran [Chapter 3] prior to the story of Jesus mention attributes of perfection that belong to the One True God alone.

And then in the story of Jesus, you'll find the opposite of these attributes affirmed for Jesus to show that he is not God.

E.g.: "Allah is the one who shapes you in the wombs of your mothers as He wills" [3:6]

The story of Jesus and his family begins with mention of
Mary, John and Jesus being shaped in the wombs of their mothers. [3:35-45]

How can one who was shaped in the womb of his mother be God?

The normative state in the husband-wife relationship is that both are not Naashiz (i.e., showing ill-conduct) whereas much of the situations discussed in Fiqh manuals relate to when the spouse is Naashiz, especially the situation asked. From my experience, questions like this tend to come from people who have had little interactions with women or people who know the answer to this question but want to cause problems..

There are principles a husband is to uphold when dealing with a wife that has not shown Nushuz

The story of Prophet Yusuf is from the stories of the unseen of which we have only been given bits of the entire puzzle, especially when it comes to the rule of Yusuf and his dealings with the King of Egypt.

Allah said: Image Also, the actions of previous prophets should not be judged in accordance with our own sharia.

It is known in our sharia that making statues is forbidden.

But in the sharia of Prophet Sulayman it was not.

You know how the Salaf used to dedicate chapters under the title:

"Chapter: That which the Jahmiyyah deny"

Essentially listing reports that really trigger the Jahmis.

Here is one such chapter, but with a twist: "Chapter: That which the Feministiyyah deny"

Feministiyyah = Muslim Feminists

one of the norms of the people upon falsehood is that they introduce non-shar'i terms that may carry elements of truth but also can carry falsehood.

what do you mean by visible? What I have understood is that 'visibly present' or 'visible' means visible to non-mahram men in society and that a woman can be just as visible and active in society the way a man can.

Do the reports quoted support this?

How to detect a munāfiq in 5 minutes: - He says 'this is an issue of disagreement amongst the scholars' whilst not respecting their consensus at all

- He says 'you push people away from the Deen!' whilst 'non-muslims', to him, will enter paradise. If that's the case, what's the problem if people disbelieve?

Whilst hamm/hadīth al nafs are not considered sins, they could have a negative effect upon you, in the sense that Allah makes it a reason to trial you, as a form of expiation/cleansing. Aisha said:

كل عبد يهمّ بمعصية، أو يحدّث بها نفسه، حاسبه الله بها في الدنيا، يخافُ ويحزن

Every servant that inclines (yahimmu) to sin, or talks about it to himself, Allah will hold him accountable for it in this world by making him fear and grieve

Level Three: hadīth al nafs (deliberation with yourself)
Level Four: hamm (inclination)
Level Five: 'azm (firm decision/resolve)
