Muscle-testing (applied kinesiology) tests what is beneficial for you or your body, using the strength/weakening of muscles to get Yes or No answers.
It is used by chiropractors & naturopaths using the shoulder muscle, but can also be done alone using two fingers of each hand.
A seminal book on muscle-testing is 'Your Body Doesn't Lie' (1979) by John Diamond.
But it does not teach finger testing, which can be done alone.
