I'm a Taiwanese, so let me tell you about "social unrest in China":
Some of the intellects got influenced by the western media and thought covid was nothing, so they regarded govt policy as population control instead of infection control. 1/
Once the restrictions were lifted, hospitals were jammed pack because of lack of resources to handle the influx of patients after the West had made the virus more transmissible than the the original strain.
Some proponents of "no more zero" were dying with pills in hands. 2/

Ever since my kid was diagnosed with disability 6 years ago, I've been thinking about this: the world is not built for her, and people aren't conditioned to be considerate. 1/
The resources for disabilities are scarce, and the costs are getting more and more expensive every year. This is the reality of living with disabilities, and we don't have any plan other than investing in RDSP. 2/
