Bad joke, but par for the course for anti-Palestinian racism.

Gene Simmons has called Muslims "vile" & was banned from Fox News offices for sexism, but he's a headlined signer of a cynical letter to "bring people together" & oppose Palestinian-led boycott of the Sydney Festival. The hypocrisy and racism shouldn't be surprising.

The group behind the letter, "Creative Community for Peace", is an arm of StandWithUs, an anti-Palestinian non-profit with ties to Israel's government.

"Apolitical" "Creative Community for Peace" hides from artists and media it lobbies that it's not a non-profit. It's just a project of the racist US non-profit StandWithUs. Esther and David Renzer, board chairs of StandWithUs and @CCFPeace, are married.
