GOD TESTS OUR FAITH/OBEDIENCE THROUGH DELAYS.

Each time I read the story of king Saul, I always felt so sad; how he missed the UNMERITED GRACE placed before him just for grab. 1 Samuel 13:8-13 "And he tarried seven days, according to the set time that Samuel had appointed: but Samuel came not to Gilgal; and the people were scattered from him.
And Saul said, Bring hither a burnt offering to me, and peace offerings. And he offered the burnt offering.

1.REDEEMED from SUFFERING

Surely he took up our infirmities and carried our sorrows. (Isaiah 53v. 4)

To redeem you means to “release you” or to “set you free.” To redeem is to do whatever it takes to get you out of the mess you’re in.
Thread When Isaiah speaks about the redeeming work of Christ, he does not begin with our guilt and sin. That comes later. He starts with our infirmities. That has to include your migraines, your arthritis, your depression, and your cancer. Christ also carried our sorrows.
