As a newscaster, you must understand that a news story is still a story - it has a beginning, it has a middle and there’s an ending.
You must tell the listener THAT story.

Also, every news story or bulletin is different, hence your delivery or reading must be different. For example, you cannot read a story on state budget and one on a flooding disaster with the same tone - there has to be a difference in the delivery.

I also read up on something several years ago - learn to emphasize on the right words.
