Given the reported facts, it beggars belief that any pupils were suspended at all. There is no blasphemy law in the UK: there is no compulsion to revere or ‘respect’ any book at all, and I have no idea why the police and ‘community leaders’ are involved.
bbc.co.uk/news/uk-englan… This quasi-judicial mosque hearing about the incident is extraordinary. The autistic non-Muslim boy was interrogated on how he must treat the Quran. Police aren't investigating death threats he received.
Who should be suspended or referred to PREVENT here?

We didn't see this.
Lloyd Russell-Moyle didn't only shout ‘Transphobe’ and ‘bigot’ at Miriam Cates, he crossed the floor to the Tory benches, sat very close to her, and just stared.
That isn't parliamentary practice: it is harassing, bullying behaviour; even ‘toxic masculinity’. Imagine if a white Tory male had argued in the Chamber with Diane Abbott, who had expressed thoughtful and reasonable views about racism and personal security, and this man then crossed the floor to the Labour benches, sat close to her, and just stared. It's outrageous behaviour.

A game-changing moment for @trussliz.
Rishi thought he'd set a clever trap, but instead presented her with an open goal. Watch the smile, the stiffness disappear, the fluency emerge, the passion grow. That's #LizForLeader authenticity. She needs to find more of that.
#ITVDebate Appended for those (esp. Labour MPs) who say @trussliz was educated under the Conservatives, so she's trashing Thatcher/Major.
Schools were run by local education authorities, responsible for funding and achievement.
Who controlled Leeds Council 1986-1993?

@Cambridge_Uni What was unlawful about the opinions expressed by Dr @jordanbpeterson? theguardian.com/education/2019… Certainly, you may find his views controversial, but you rescinded his visiting fellowship when students objected. Where was your robust defence of his academic right to express a view? @Cambridge_Uni @jordanbpeterson And just because an opinion is lawful to express doesn't make it acceptable for an employee of an academic institution. If this sectarian prejudice were tweeted by a male lecturer about left-wing people, and students demanded his dismissal, what would your response be?
