This whole thread. Gonna share an IME situation...

...as some of you may know I cooked at @WaffleHouse for a few years. I learned more there than I ever did in school, or college, hands down. Making dinner for - I'd wager - 95% of the US population is kind of a scam, like Kyle suggests. For many reasons, and we as a nation get jacked for it. Because we don't learn how to eat, eat well, or be prepared to do so. We're really bad at it as a nation...
...but I lucked out.

Per that last thread, @mstine responded and I noticed the geo tag of Southaven and it immediately brought back memories. Because, ya see, I was working in Memphis (just north) and was driving up from southern Mississippi up to Memphis and passing through Southaven one day... I pull off the I-55 after traveling north for a bunch of hours and hours. I bought some gas and then drove over to the Applebee's located here : 710 Desoto Cove, Horn Lake, MS 38637. So here's the story of this evening's dinner I enjoyed.
