اس کیلیے امریکہ نے فوجی اسٹیبلشمنٹ کو مضبوط کرنا شروع کیا اور انہیں اسلحہ اور مالی مدد فراہم کی تاکہ ضرورت پڑنے پر پاکستان امریکہ کی جنگ لڑ سکے۔ چونکہ یہ تمام عرصہ سرد جنگ کی حد تک ہی محدود رہا، اسلیے پاکستان صرف فوجی لحاظ سے ہی ریاستی امور چلاتا رہا۔

In 1950's, the Majlis e Ahrar & Jamaat e islami were on their rise. These religious parties spewed hatred & violence in the name of Islam which grew by the time....

...& it resulted in Ahmadiya disturbances in 1953 which broke in Punjab.
State neutralized these religious fanatics for the timebeing by taking strict action, although Maududi & Sattar Niazi's death sentencedwere later commuted which showed helping hand given by the state...
