(with co-authors @Jess_Sargeant @jameskkane @ThimontJack @KellyShuttlew13) Scotland was taken out of the EU against the will of a majority of its voters. This has put independence back on the agenda. But Brexit raises difficult questions about how an independent Scotland could balance its relationships with Brussels and Westminster.
