In Igboland, we once had renowned brave, highly educated and "Igbotic" men like

Pius Okigbo,

Mbonu Ojike,

Nnamdi Azikiwe,

Kenneth Dike,

Flora Nwapa Chinua Achebe

Eni Njoku

And even the very present Chimamanda Adichie and others

It's troubling that we have some of us today arguing in support of schools closure and the disruption of the academic calendar of Igbo kids by truncating their exams for very confused reasons
