I got some tea on the Orioles that I was given permission to share anonymously which boils down to:
Hyde is in over his head/they need a new manager.
They need to sign veteran leaders, position and pitching.
The young players were undisciplined. Showed up to the park late. They “need someone who can inspire players and create a culture of respect in the clubhouse”.
As someone who has always liked and defended Hyde, if he’s not doing those things that’s a HUGE problem, especially managing such a young team full of, let’s be real, guys with egos.
