Well seeing as how my Blundell / Bullard thread got some decent attention, I guess I'll follow up with that thread I alluded to regarding his talk show days and how he burned his bridges with CTV!
So here we go..... /1
Mike Bullard's late-night talk show, which ran from the late 90s to the early 2000s, may have been the first truly successful show of its type in Canada, but it's widely considered one of the worst Canadian TV shows of all time, for multiple reasons. /2

So I see that Dean Blundell is trending.
Now's the time to remind y'all that he has consistently boosted a certain washed-up "comedian" (and I use the term VERY loosely) who is a pathological liar.
Said comedian is......
Mike Bullard. /1
There's not much point in rehashing the Mike Bullard-Cynthia Mulligan case - there's lots of info on that if you wish to read up on it.
What you may not know is that he even paid a "private eye" to harass her for him, and said "private eye" was eventually convicted as well. /2

This Autism Acceptance Day, it's time to take sides.
Yes. I said it.
There are people who think that Light It Up Blue and RED Instead are of equal value.
There are people who think the puzzle piece and rainbow infinity mobius mean the same thing.
These people are wrong. /1
More importantly, there are people who think it doesn't matter if you use functioning labels or not.
And there are those who think it doesn't matter if you support ABA or not.
Those people aren't just wrong. They are DANGEROUS. /2

The worst Autism Awareness Day proclamation I've seen belongs to @KingsCountyNS.
Let's take it apart, bit by bit: /1
"WHEREAS, Autism is the fastest-growing neuro-developmental disorder in Canada affecting 1 in 68 individuals; Autism affects not only the diagnosed individual but also the entire family and the community at large;"
First of all, autism is not "fast-growing". /2

1/ CN/TW: Autism Speaks, comparing autism to cancer and death, ABA, quack diets, blaming autistic children for family troubles, all manner of ableism
So Autism Speaks has this thing called the "100 Day Kit".
Want to know what's in it? Here are some excerpts.
2/ On page 10:
"Autism statistics from the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) released in March 2014 identify around 1 in 68 American children as on the autism spectrum – a ten-fold increase in prevalence in 40 years. ....
