'Perfect Storm' by Dr Tim Morgan, written in 2013, is essential reading.
Dr Morgan is essentially a perma-bear.
As is not unusual with perma-bears, he misses the occasional 'something will turn up' bit of good news (he thought shale gas the 'dotcom bubble of our time').

I don't think people fully realise who absolutely insanely crazy it is that Nordstream 1 and 2 (though I was no fan of them) have seemingly been sabotaged. What possible rationale would there be for Russians to do it?
This is a rupture, literally and metaphorically. Dark times.

History is full of beliefs that turned out to be 100% false, despite their prevailing narratives being untouchable shibboleths at the time. Those that spoke out could expect severe punishment – many a heretic has suffered a fiery end, despite being on the right side of history.
Throughout such episodes, many nice people put aside raging cognitive dissonance and clung – firmly, though incorrectly – to their belief systems.
A current prevailing belief system of our times is the ‘Covid Vaccine Saviour’ narrative.
Only the the rich WFH crowd "regarded the general confinement of the entire population (irrespective of risk profile, living situation, religion or age) as justified".
As if it was some kind of holiday.

The blanket restrictions caused massive harm.

In these inflationary times, I have been struck (anecdotally) by the ridiculously low prices of pineapples in the UK, regardless of retailer.
Has anyone else noticed this?
Am I imagining it? Could be just a momentary glut of pineapples?
It would seem this is borne out by 'the data':
It is a heinous plan, and will likely cause huge harm.
It would be devastating, on many levels.
Here's why:
The proposal is based on flawed logic.
If the vaccines work, then people are protected.
If they don't... then it would be immoral (and totally ineffective anyway) to foist a vaccination on people, especially given the known harms. It would make things worse.

September 2021: looking back on August 2021, a most extraordinary month of unbelievable developments, even by the fantastically absurd standards of the last 18 months.
If you'd forecast this at the start of 2020, you'd have been laughed out of court.
HM Government's COVID-Status review report, published THIS MONTH, agrees. Despite acres of waffle, it accepts that a vaccine-only based certification is wrong.
