The world is a busy place right now and there's a lot going on, but I want to take a few minutes to talk about at what's happening in Canada's auto sector and the transformational shift that's literally happening before our eyes.
As the kids say, here's a roll of string🧵:
The world is moving to electric vehicles (EV). This isn't just a Liberal government thing. This is where the market is going.
So we need to make sure we're there too. And as a government, we need to show leadership on this front. And we are.

Bit of an update from me: after nearly two years of serving Prime Minister @JustinTrudeau as Press Secretary, I’ll be leaving the Office in the new year.
1/
A very difficult decision to make, as I'll be leaving a team that has been inspiring to work with and one that has been incredibly supportive throughout this pandemic. (From @telfordk to @CameronAhmad, and everyone else - especially @annclarav!)

This is an incredibly inaccurate headline and article.
Bottom line: the Canadian government - led by Prime Minister @JustinTrudeau - has been acting to protect Canadians since the very beginning of #COVIDー19.
When the disease became a real concern for Canadians abroad, the government acted to get hundreds of Canadians home safely. 2/ rcinet.ca/en/2020/01/29/…

There's been some talk about instability for Canada’s Veterans recently.
While there have been some changes to the political leadership over the last month, what’s remained constant is the Liberal government’s support for Canada’s Veterans.
And let me tell you why...

In 2015 we heard from Veterans that they weren’t getting the support & respect they deserved.
They wanted a government that would give back to those who had given so much in service to Canada.
That's why the Liberals promised more compensation, more choice, and more support.
