1/ The Scottish Affairs Committee says it will write to the Electoral Commission to find out if public money was caught up in the Murrell embezzlement. I spent this morning reading the accounts. Here's what they actually show. 🧵
2/ The SNP Westminster Group files its own accounts separately at the Electoral Commission. Separate legal entity, separate bank account, separate signatories - the Westminster leader signs them off, not Murrell. His name doesn't appear anywhere in any set of accounts I reviewed
