1/9 🧵 So the Covid Inquiry report has been handed over.

And along with it… a helpful little document explaining what we do and don’t get to see.

I’ve read it (Minute 6), and thought some might appreciate my first impressions.

It’s… something. 2/9 First up.

For the entire Inquiry, most of the evidence sat under a Section 15 order, meaning only the Commissioners and their staff could access it.

And now?

Large parts will stay restricted (more screenshots to come).

So when you hear “transparent process”, just know that comes with an asterisk*. 😉

To be fair, he’s nailed a lot of it. Yes, we’re organised, strategic, sophisticated, effective and not stopping.

But then… things go a bit Salvador Dali on acid. Threat levels. “Democratic subversion.” “Institutional capture.” “Like a cancer.”

Whooping cough / Pertussis.
Some uninformed trolls were slinging around the tired 'misinformation' and 'anti-vax' labels this morning in response to a comment I made about what the research says about this illness.

I've gathered a few key snippets from studies and articles that some might find interesting/useful/informative. 🧵 An overview: Labour's response to Covid nuked public trust in vaccines in general. That was a predicted outcome, but they rolled the dice and lost regardless.

Read up on the current pertussis vaccine (DTaP). It is problematic because it creates asymptomatic carriers that can pass on pertussis to the vulnerable without knowing it. If I were a parent with a small baby, I would prefer to know whether someone was symptomatic and sick rather than infectious and showing no signs so that contact could be avoided.

In NZ, medical professionals suffer from observer bias in that they rarely diagnose pertussis in the vaccinated, instead calling it the 100-day cough.

The test is really only good for the first two weeks of the illness, and the mainstream treatment prescribed has marginal effectiveness.

Those concerned (vaccinated or not) would do well to read up on the vitamin C protocol from Dr Suzanne Humphries.

🚨 From 20 working days to a staggering 17 months! 🚨

Since May 2023, I've been on a quest for transparency that has become a frustrating saga.

It all started with a straightforward Privacy Act request for any information that Kate Hannah and The Disinformation Project held on me.

I expected compliance in just 20 working days (as is the law in NZ), but instead, I've spent the last 17 months chasing answers.

Initially, Kate engaged with me, but halfway through the process, she ghosted my requests. 📧

Given the recent news of The Disinformation Project's demise, I thought it was time to share this adventure to drive accountability from Kate and the Privacy Commissioner.

I invite you to read through the email exchanges between Kate and me and the correspondence with The Office of the Privacy Commissioner.

(Lucky, I'm like a dog with a bone... I'll still be going in 2050 if that's what it takes 🤣)

I reckon it's time for Kate to stop running and breaking the law. I'd like to see how far she went to get information on me and our work at VFF, which other agencies were involved, and what she's desperately trying to hide - wouldn't you?

A couple of weeks ago, Claire, Katie AK, and I reconvened with the Phase One Covid Inquiry commissioners for a powerful second session.

Our first meeting left too much unsaid (how do you condense four intense years into just 90 minutes?), so we secured more time.

In our initial meeting, we challenged the government, "expert," and media narratives that often clashed with the truth.

This time, we brought video evidence to back it up.

P.S. Big thanks to @c_plushie for helping with the footage! 1⃣ The first video featured former Aussie Premiere Dominic Perrottet criticising the use of vax mandates by governments in Australia and around the world.

While we disagreed with some of his statements, we pointed out this trend (mandates were wrong) and the need for the RCI to pay attention and act accordingly.
