It has been 21 months since the Steelers had a WR2.
What happened late last season? George Pickens got hurt and missed time.
What happened this year? DK Metcalf got suspended for the final two games.
There's no one else in the receiving corps that scares opposing defenses.
This team is flawed and we can quibble about all the other flaws. But the fact that there has been such a gaping hole at WR2 for two full seasons is absurd.

🧵 Thoughts about the Steelers 2024 roster:
QB - Kenny Pickett will be back;
Mitch Trubisky will be gone; try to re-sign Mason Rduolph; still need to add to the QB room. Don’t think the answer is currently on this roster.
RB - Pick up Najee’s fifth-year option; extend Warren (only signed through 2024), who should get a nice raise.
WR - Draft or sign a FA slot WR; let Diontae Johnson play out final year of his deal.
