Trump just dropped 6 calculated moves against NATO in the past 3 weeks. He's negotiating.

Every single one is deliberate table-setting for the biggest, highest-stakes negotiation of his presidency.

Stick with me until the end. You’ll see exactly what Trump is doing and why it’s brilliant.

It is one of the most well-orchestrated negotiation campaigns we've seen, and he's just getting started.

"Take the Oil" / UK
A week or so ago, Trump told the UK directly: "Go to the Strait and just take it" (the oil).

"You'll have to start learning how to fight for yourself. The U.S. won't be there to help you anymore — just like you weren't there for us."

Trump is practicing responsibility transferring here.

Responsibility transferring is the strategic process of shifting the primary burden of Europe's defense and security from the United States to European nations themselves.

Trump is planting the seed that American protection conditional rather than automatic.

The goal here is forcing allies to increase spending, take command roles, and assume real ownership of their own defense.

Trump is replacing the old assumption- “America will always protect Europe”with a new one:
American security guarantees are conditional, not automatic.

He's also framing the UK as much weaker than the United States. This is epic. Trump is establishing America as the "big brother" to the UK.

Trump is prepping the negotiating table for something big.Image "Paper Tiger"& Decoupling
Trump called NATO a "paper tiger"-- more than once. He even said that Putin knows it.

Trump is decoupling here.

Decoupling is Trump’s strategic effort to separate the United States from its role as Europe’s unconditional military protector, gradually reducing America’s automatic security commitments to NATO so that European nations must assume primary responsibility for their own defense and energy security.

He's surgically separating U.S. credibility from NATO's credibility. The point is to establish that America's deterrence power exists independent of the alliance.

Once that's in people's heads, pulling back from NATO looks less like abandonment and more like a simple business decision. Just perfect.Image

This Trump post is elite. And you’ll start to see it too as you read along. You will love this breakdown.

We all know about the impending deadline on Tuesday. The deadline creates urgency for Iran and gives Trump an extra negotiation chip that didn’t exist before. We all know this.

But it gets better now.

Trump is now branding the deadline.

“Power Plant Day and Bridge Day, all wrapped up in one, in Iran.”

This branding is elite framing, as it turns an abstract military pressure into vivid, memorable visual events. People don’t remember vague threats.

They remember branded days—like “D-Day” or “Shock and Awe.” Trump makes the destruction feel scheduled, inevitable, and almost celebratory.

It sticks in the mind and signals total control.

And notice how nonchalant it sounds. Trump didn’t go for epic, carnage-heavy branding. He branded it the way you’d casually announce National Potato Chip Day.

That’s intentional. He’s making an apocalyptic-like event for Iran feel routine, even mundane, for the US. This makes the threat land harder because it flexes confidence and might. This is light work for America.

Then Trump uses a direct threat. Zero diplomatic filter. It bypasses the usual State Department word salad and hits the human survival instinct.

And the closer? “Praise be to Allah.” Oh. My. Goodness.

He doesn’t just threaten their infrastructure- he mocks their worldview by hijacking their own religious phrasing right before promising devastation.

This is too perfect.

It’s a reminder who’s writing the script for their “impending” doom.

This is calibrated dominance.

Watch how the media spins it tomorrow. They’ll call it “unpresidential.” The people who get persuasion will see genius.

What a time to be alive.Image This is the post that might end the war.

Trump is currently on an all-time persuasion run.

I posted about this yesterday morning on 𝕏 and I want to go deeper here, because it’s one of the most sophisticated persuasion sequences I’ve seen Trump run.

Trump has been using the word TAKE--in all caps, repeatedly--in connection with Iranian oil and all things Iran. And it’s easy to miss what he’s actually doing with it. He even used the word 9x in his primetime speech.

He’s not just describing a policy option. He’s conditioning you to see Iranian oil as something that can be picked up off the floor. Free money.

Here’s the sequence he is running...Image The TAKE Campaign

First, he told 90 million Iranians to TAKE control of their government back. That plants the idea that something in Iran is there for the taking.

Then, he told the UK to TAKE the oil from Iran. He told other nations the same thing.

Nobody stepped up. And maybe that’s the point.

Trump is walking around the room picking money off the floor saying “does this belong to anyone? No? Okay.” He waits. Nobody moves. Then he just puts it in his pocket.

People are going to soon realize they could’ve (and should’ve) picked up that money.

Trump couldn’t have said six weeks ago “I want Iran’s oil.” The public wasn’t ready for it. First he had to establish that the military objectives were already met — that somebody else needs to come in and clean up the oil and economic mess. Then he had to introduce the idea that Iranian oil was somehow available, unclaimed, waiting.

He did that by asking other people to take it first.

When they didn’t — when the UK demurred, when other nations didn’t step up — Trump didn’t force it. He just kept saying the word. TAKE. TAKE. TAKE. Each repetition makes the idea more normal. Less radical. More like a real estate transaction than an act of war. The art of the deal.

This is what I’m calling the TAKE Campaign — a systematic conditioning effort to reframe the seizure of Iranian oil from “conquest” to “deal.” From aggression to opportunity. From theft to salvage. He did it so smoothly.

And it worked. Glenn Greenwald posted yesterday to 1.7 million followers that the liberation narrative disappeared and “now it’s all about stealing their oil.” He’s calling it out as hypocrisy.

I’d argue he’s half right.

The liberation framing was always designed to expire. It served its purpose: it gave the military campaign moral cover while the actual objectives — the Strait, the oil, leverage over China — got secured. Now that phase is over. Trump doesn’t need the liberation frame anymore, so he dropped it.

That’s not hypocrisy. What. a. sequence.

Greenwald spotted the shift. He just has the wrong explanation for it.

When you begin to realize this TAKE Campaign is happening, you can appreciate Trump as one of the greatest persuaders of all time and allow that filter to help you make sense of all he does on the public stage.Image

Trump weaponized sophisticated persuasion moves in his speech last night.

Like many of you, I was anticipating Trump
discussing boots on the ground or torching NATO. Niether happened.

What did happen was Trump's continuation of Open Air Negotiations and the installation of a new mindset for millions.

If you remember back to February 28, Trump spoke directly to the Iranian people as well.

Iran ran the same play and published a letter yesterday (April 1) to the American people.

Trump's sending a particular message (which is part of the negotations) and like I said, weaponizing persuasion to make sure everything lands. It's all part of Trump's negotiation play.

I'll break it all down below. (1/6) THE SPEECH TO 90 MILLION IRANIANS

On February 28, while bombs were falling on Iran, Trump gave a war speech.

In this speech, he laid the groundwork for a message- a theme- he'd continue hammering into every mind who read or heard his words over the next month.

He spoke directly to the 90 million Iranians at the end in doing this. Here's what you should take note of:

“When we are finished, take over your government. It will be yours to take. This will be probably your only chance for generations.”

“Now is the time to seize control of your destiny.”

Keep all of that in your head. We’re going to zoom out now. (2/6)

Every prediction American Debunk made about the US-Iran negotiations landed today. All of them, on the same day.

Here's what just happened and what it means.

Trump threatened to "obliterate" Kharg Island yesterday.

Don't view this as a threat per-say. Its an anchor. Once Kharg is on the table, every outcome short of it looks like Iran winning.

This is textbook negotiation psychology and we called it weeks ago.
👇Image Iran let 20 ships through Hormuz without firing a shot.

The "Tehran toll booth" — $2M/ship in Chinese yuan — is now the operational structure. The strait isn't "closed." It's a revenue model, and Iran to maintain their public narrative.

This is exactly what we said would happen.

"The smart money is on the former."Image

I read the stories that say Hegseth blocked a Black female officer because Trump "wouldn't want to stand next to" her at military events.

This story is jam-packed with hoax techniques.

I'll break it all down here with Hoaxology and teach you how it was made.

First, the entire New York Times story is sourced to 11 anonymous officials.

Not one named source. Not one document. Not one person willing to put their name on any of it.

The Pentagon called it "full of fake news from anonymous sources."

But that didn't make the headline.Image The most explosive claim in the story was that Hegseth's chief of staff Ricky Buria allegedly told Army Secretary Driscoll that Trump "wouldn't want to stand next to a Black female officer."

Buria denied it. He called it "completely false."

“Whoever placed this made-up story is clearly trying to sow division among our ranks in the department and the administration,” Buria told the Daily Beast.

“It’s not going to work, and it will never work when this department is led by clear-eyed, mission-driven leaders unfazed by fake Washington gossip.”

Driscoll's own response in the conversation: "The president is not a racist or sexist."

Those denials were buried in the story.

I took a CNN article about the Iran war and found 5 manipulation techniques inside it.

Not opinions. Named, documented techniques.

This is exactly how the news is built to shape what you think before you reach a single fact.

Technique 1: Verdict in the Headline.

The headline read "Trump's Iran War Message Marked by Exaggerated Threats and Shifting, Contradictory Goals." Three editorial conclusions.

Zero evidence presented. The manipulation was complete before you read a single word of the article.Image Technique 2: Anonymous Source Laundering.

The most explosive claim in the piece that Trump was "at odds with US intelligence"-was sourced entirely to unnamed officials. No agencies. No access level. No way for you to verify anything.

The word "sources" carries the illusion of reporting while doing none of the accountability work that sourcing is supposed to perform.

Technique 3: False Incoherence.

CNN took multiple officials, on different days, emphasizing different aspects of a complex military operation and called it "contradictory goals."

Every military campaign of this scale has layered objectives. Normal variation in communication is NOT strategic confusion. They presented it as proof of disarray.

I took one AP wire story about the Iran war and found 6 manipulation techniques inside it.

Not opinions. Named, documented techniques.

This is how the news is built.

Technique 1: Conclusion Laundering. The headline read "Trump Knocked Back on His Political Heels."

That is not a fact. That is a verdict dressed up as a news observation. The manipulation started before you read a single word of the article.Image Technique 2: Assertion Stacking. The opening paragraph contained 5 editorial conclusions presented as background facts.

None sourced.

None with a named witness. Just stated.

By sentence 3 you had already accepted 5 contested claims as established truth.

“In the two weeks since the US and Israel launched strikes on Iran, US President Donald Trump increasingly has been knocked on his political heels. He’s grown more agitated with news coverage and has failed to find a way to explain why he started the war — or how he will end it — that resonates with a public concerned by American deaths in the conflict, surging oil prices and dropping financial markets.”

The Trump Threatened To Kill Liz Cheney At A Tucker Carlson Event Hoax | The American Debunk

Did Trump really threaten to kill Liz Cheney?

Or is this another example of the media utilizing selective video editing?

Let's take a look 🧵 The Hoax | Trump Threatened To Kill Liz Cheney At A Tucker Carlson Event

On October 31, 2024, Donald Trump made what appeared to be a violent threat to kill Liz Cheney during a campaign event with Tucker Carlson in Arizona.

The media began implying Trump endorsed physical harm against her.

Cheney has been one of Trump’s most outspoken Republican critics, particularly over his handling of the 2020 election and January 6 events, leading to her ousting in 2022 by a Trump-backed candidate.

Recently, Cheney has even campaigned with Kamala Harris, calling for a united front against Trump.Image

The Trump Killed The Border Bill Hoax | The American Debunk

Do you think that Trump killed the border bill so that he'd have a campaign issue to run on? Think again.

Here's all the context they hid from you.Image The Hoax- Trump Killed The Border Bill So That He Had An Issue To Run On

The Trump Killed the Border Bill Hoax claims that Donald Trump instructed Republicans to kill a bipartisan border security bill earlier this year so that he could use the border crisis as a central issue in his 2024 campaign.

Democratic leaders, including Sen. Chris Murphy, have alleged that Trump bragged about sabotaging the deal, with Murphy asserting that Trump worked behind the scenes to undermine the legislation.

Despite months of negotiation by GOP senators like James Lankford, the bill ultimately failed, and some claimed it would have passed with near-unanimous support if not for Trump’s involvement.

Democrats keep Black people oppressed and under their control by keeping them in a state or vulnerability.

Let’s explore three ways they do this. 1. Democrats keep Black kids locked in failing schools & oppose school choice.

School choice would force schools to improve or risk losing kids and funding to better schools.

Teachers’ Unions - an extension of the Democratic Party - uphold today’s urban public school system.

Wouldn't Sam Harris be in cognitive dissonance if his perception of Trump adjusted to create harmony between his behavior/beliefs?

His behavior & beliefs seem to be consistent, but that’s because his *perception* of Trump has warped to align w/ these aspects. As I understand it, our beliefs, behavior, & observations need to be consistent.

When they aren’t, one of them has to adjust to reestablish harmony.

And sometimes it’s our perception that will adjust when these other aspects are inconsistent with one another.
