I always knew that NGOs, the UN, and the world bank's discourse on climate change resilience, and disaster risk management is empty and toothless. But today it especially feels like I have worked for a complete farce and lie. I feel like a failure. I am part of a deception that spends absurd amounts of money on publishing random reports on climate change vulnerability. Set stages for random workshops, seminars, flying-in and out "experts", and create panels to dispense wisdom on bolstering up 'resilience to climate change
