🧵 قَدِ اهْتَزَّ بَيْتُ اللّٰهِ إِذْ طُفْتُ سَائِــلاً

A thread 🧵 Sidi Mawlud Fal (رضي الله عنه) of Mauritania was one of the biggest Khalifahs of Tijaniyyah in the 19th century, and thousands entered the Tariqah on his hands.

According to “Kitab Ikhraj ash-Shurut lil Tariqa Tijaniyya” by Shaykh al-Hadi ibn Sidi Mawlud Fal (رضي الله عنه) , the exoteric (zahiri) reason for this arrangement of the obligatory litany (wird al-lazim) i.e.

3- Haillah

This is the wird by which we seek the purification of the heart, as the purification of the heart is the building & edifice of Allah.

(Threads) Firstly, the White Cloth is put to honor the Place of Zikr, as it might be dirty. As Sidi Shaykh Ahmad bin Muhammad al-Hafiz al-Tijani of Egypt said about it:
