The Bank of Canada claims it didn't print cash to finance Justin Trudeau’s deficits.

Fact Check: The Bank’s statement is full of baloney. Here's why... 1/5 As Trudeau started issuing bonds to pay for his deficits, the Bank of Canada started buying those bonds. Hundreds of billions worth. 2/5

1. Justin Trudeau promised that his Canada Infrastructure Bank would leverage private sector money to create NEW PUBLIC infrastructure projects. Instead, the Liberals are using hundreds of millions of your tax dollars to subsidize a PRE-EXISTING PRIVATE for-profit project. Image 2. It was purchased in 2014 by ITC Investment Holdings Inc., the largest electricity transmission company in the USA. ITC is a subsidiary of Fortis Inc. Image

The COVID-19 pandemic has shut down our economy. But who’s ultimately to blame? It’s not the market or Canadians. The reality is Justin Trudeau’s Liberals have been slow to react during this crisis and their failures have cost Canadians. 1/7 Their failure to close our borders allowed the virus to spread. Their failure to maintain our national stockpile meant hospitals ran out of medical supplies. Their failure to get programs right the first time have allowed businesses and workers to fall through the cracks. 2/7

Justin Trudeau has blown through a surplus left behind by Conservatives – leaving massive deficits year after year for the next generation of Canadians to pay back. 1/n That’s not how Canadians manage their households, leaving a huge credit card bill to their kids, and that’s definitely not what Canadians expect of their government. 2/n

Sharing my positive Conservative vision for Canada where taxes are low, government is limited, opportunity is equal, freedom is shared, and people are put first.

Canada’s Conservatives are strong, ready and here for Canada. #CPC18 pscp.tv/AndrewScheer/1… Thank you to the dozens of conservative leaders and elected officials from all parts of the country who are here.

We are certainly one big, strong, united, national Conservative party.

And next year, we will be a strong, stable, national Conservative majority government.

By sweeping away legitimate questions on his failed border policy with vile personal insults, it is Trudeau himself who is guilty of polarizing the debate. No one has done more to divide Canadians than he has. 1/5 This is not the first time Trudeau has responded to criticism with demonizing attacks. 2/5

It’s great to be here at the annual networking conference of the @manningcentre for Building Democracy. #MNC2018 There are obviously different reasons why people join our movement. But I believe that there are certain core principles that we can all agree on. Conservativism emphasizes individual and political freedom, free trade, and the universal benefits of a free economy.
