If you want to close deals, avoid these 11 mistakes at all costs:

1. Stop forcing "rapport" by asking about the weather and become genuinly curious about your prospect instead. 2. Stop rushing to the pitch. If you don't time understanding the prospect's situation, you won't be able to pitch in a relevant way.

3. Stop bailing on a line of questioning that gets uncomfortable. Often, the best and most relevant information is uncomfortable to uncover.

What's the BEST way to ask for the sale?

Let me share some secret sauce: There is no one "best way" to ask for the sale.

That's because asking for the sale should not be the highest pressure point of your call.

You should be digging into your prospect's needs, desires, dreams, fears, etc. and positioning your offer as the solution for them.

This is why you should never talk too much on a sales call...

Talking too much will cost you $$$!

Let me explain: It's easy to get excited about what you sell.

You believe in it enough to be putting your reputation behind it!

Plus you make money when people buy. Great reason to try to talk people into saying yes.

Only problem? It doesn't work.

Ask and listen more to sell more!

I've listened to a bunch of calls by "high ticket closers" in the coaching and consulting space

Here are the key things being missed by most closers today:

1) They don't understand the need for and value of deep questions.

These questions are the backbone of your sales process Asking the right questions at the right time is the difference between an easy yes and a confusing stall.

Dig deep and find the REAL reason your prospect is shopping/buying.

I used to suck at sales until I learned these 3 things: 1) Sales Is An Art

You can't just copy someone else if you want to be a master. You can learn the skills from imitation, but at some point you need to make them your own.

Figure out what your style is and lean into it.

Once you've practiced enough, you can use it naturally.

HOW TO OVERCOME OBJECTIONS. A brief thread on crushing sales.

First... what is an objection?

An objection is really when your prospect says, “no, because xyz.”

They are telling you they don’t want to buy.

The process for overcoming this starts at the beginning of the call.
👇 When you start your call, you should be in fact finding mode.

What makes them tick, what drives them to speak to you, what do they need?

Now you start dropping hints at what you can do for them. Little nuggets of info but not all of it.

Why?
In case you need it later.

I've worked as a sales coach for 15+ years helping coaches, entrepreneurs, biz owners and sales professionals get more sales.

It doesn't matter what offer you're selling or what niche.

Your ability to close the sale comes down to how you answer these 3 specific questions
👇 Most people over complicate the sales process.

And I don't blame them.

Sales gurus, complex sales scripts, lack of sales experience and sleazy sales guys only lead to unnecessary confusion and anxiety.

Your prospect only wants to know 3 things

Answer these = more sales
