1/ Despite the mythologized Soviet propaganda about a “Great Patriotic War victory,” historical facts tell a different story.
Without U.S. aid, the Ukrainian front, and British pressure—victory in WWII would’ve been impossible for the USSR.

2/ USA: Lend-Lease and the Economy of Victory
Without the Lend-Lease program, the USSR had no fuel, no mobile logistics.
427,000 trucks, 2,000 locomotives, tons of aviation fuel, aluminum, metals, and food—this wasn’t “help.” It was the material backbone of the Red Army.

Now, we are on the final stretch towards European integration, restoring historical justice.
Remember when, on the fifth day of the full-scale invasion, we signed the application to join the EU? Back then, people thought we were crazy.

There will be no more abstract memorandums anymore – only practical tools instead to strengthen the combat capabilities of 🇺🇦 with clear bilateral commitments.
That’s exactly what this document is about. As well as similar agreements signed earlier with 🇬🇧 and 🇩🇪.
It would have been impossible without the personal initiative of @ZelenskyyUa, as well as the whole team members actively involved in the preparatory process.
