I've been reading Arendt's "The Origins of Totalitarianism"... It's been super challenging and a slog honestly (especially trying to read in bed lol) but the rewards are starting to be great "the resulting introduction of power as the only content of politics, & of expansion as its only aim, would hardly have met with such universal applause... had it not so perfectly answered the hidden desires & secret convictions of the economically and socially dominant classes"
