This is one of the best books I’ve read this year. Go read it! It articulated the key problems that can happen when society over relies on measurement. 1. First, the good things about measurement. If you measure a problem, you can solve it better, because you can figure out where you're failing. If you have 5 employees making widgets, without measuring worker production you won't know who's slacking and making too few widgets.
