I just watched Chucklehead @RepBoebert's interview on with Bart Bedsole on KRDO, and it's breathtaking... I can never decide whether she's so stupid or whether she thinks her constituents are. It could be both. 🧵 I'll post the link to the video at the end of the thread... my notes reference the timestamps in that video.

To begin with, it appears that her glasses have no lenses in them... just empty frames. Kind of a metaphor for her entire time in the House, tbh.

A thread of embarrassments, commemorating the Chuckleheadedness of Chucklehead Boebert. Please feel free to add your own as we wait for the race to be officially called. In which she misspells her own name... Image

While the clock is ticking, while we eagerly await the early results of the vote tabulation, I just want to say thank you. You all have given me hope. You voters old and new, you election workers, you candidates for good. You make me proud to be an American. 🧵 I've shared this quote from EB White before. Tonight I'll quote him again. "Democracy is the recurrent suspicion that more than half of the people are right more than half of the time."

May this election prove him right. May we be right this time.

I wrote this two years ago, about my vote for Joe Biden. I share it again now in support of @AdamForColorado.

It was Tuesday, November 8, 1960, and it is one of my earliest memories. I was two, almost three, and my parents made the journey to the schoolhouse where they voted in every election.

My mother loved the color red, and it was a red woolen coat she wore that cold Nebraska day. Slight of build though she was, and perpetually thin, she carried me into the voting booth and set me on a small table as she drew the curtains behind us.

A special #BoebertReportCard on @RepBoebert's so called "wins."

The sun came up this morning. I was outside when the sun came up. Therefore, I should get credit for the sun coming up.

Sounds silly, doesn’t it? But that’s the kind of logic Chucklehead used when [a long thread] she touted her accomplishments for Colorado District 3 in this email. We’ll break down each of those “accomplishments.”

Virtually every item was a part of the Consolidated Appropriations Act 2022, HR 2471, which Chuckleheaded voted AGAINST. You remember, the one she said she

I see a lot of whining about gas and other energy prices, but not a lot about what you can do to reduce fossil fuel consumption. Reducing your demand for energy means you save money immediately, and it will also help reduce our reliance on fossil fuels in general. [a thread] Reduce your use of plastics. Up to 10% of the crude used in the US is used to make plastics. Use recyclable materials instead. Aluminum is recyclable.

My Time in Twitmo [a thread]

Ah, sweet smell of freedom. Friends, I have been released from the Twitter Big House, and I am here to report on my time there.

The air is fetid inside, rank with the odious sweat of politicians run amok, and doctors of questionable ethics, and seditionists chafing from their confinement. Or it might be their nether regions had not been washed in some time.

Upon my arrival, I protested loudly that I had not received a Miranda warning. Not for nothing had I watched Perry Mason in my youth, not to mention Judge Judy and

#BoebertReportCard, expenses. In case you wondered who Chucklehead @RepBoebert has on staff and how much they're paid to ignore you, these are the figures from her 3rd qtr disbursements. These are taxpayer dollars. Poor Jake Settle isn't getting paid very much @tobymorton Image And here's how much she's paying in rent for her district offices, and to whom. Image

For today’s #boebertreportcard, let’s look at the seven resolutions Chucklehead was bragging about as “accomplishments” this weekend. (A thread) 1 Cosponsor: Doug Lamborn, R-CO
This is a House Resolution, with no enforcement mechanism. If passed, it basically says, “We want the USS Pueblo back.” Which has been US policy since the ship was captured by North Korea in 1968.

Chucklehead @repboebert posted her “by the numbers” self-assessment yesterday. Let’s use this edition of the #boebertreportcard to look at those numbers. 20,168 Calls with your Congresswoman

One wonders if this includes all the voicemails from us unhappy constituents? From a sheer numbers perspective this one doesn’t add up. If she worked 362 days in 2021 (she didn’t) that’d be over 55 calls a day. Maybe she means with her staff.

The Monday #BoebertReportCard.

Only 12 tweets from Chucklehead this weekend, and (spoiler) none of them were about Colorado.

She was annoyed that she was accurately portrayed as a dimwit on Saturday Night Live.

She had a lot to say about CNN.

She gushed over FL’s gov. And of course, there was her famous tweet with “enlies.”

Ostensibly, it showed her concern for missing children, but beyond the bastardization of words, it had entirely misleading numbers.

If Chucklehead were actually interested in helping, she’d

A long #BoebertReportCard today. There have been a lot of votes in the House.

The Durango Herald had an editorial that mentioned how Boebert has been busy metaphorically extending her middle finger rather than representing her constituents, and that middle finger had a rigorous ImageImage workout over the last couple of days.

She gave a middle finger to Indigenous Peoples by votinng no on the Indian Buffalo Management Act. Also on the Agua Calinete Land Exchange Fee to Trust Confirmation Act. And another middle finger on the To amend title VI of the Social

I’ll be brief in today’s #BoebertReportCard.

Lauren had a busy tweeting weekend! 33 tweets. Few were memorable. Mostly empty platitudes and anger about Joe Biden. Seems she’s all done with Afghanistan and is back to immigration as her go to topic. She got back from Texas; oh how she loves it there. I did a long thread on her new Texas bestie from the January 6 attack on the Capitol. Jenny Cudd. I think they’d make good cellmates. If you missed it, you can find that here:

Rep @LaurenBoebert’s entire term could have been an email. A poorly worded, with lots of typos and emojis, misspelled email.

I have previously mocked @RepBoebert’s legislative prowess, so I thought we’d take a look at some of her other bold (a ridiculously long thread) actions as documented in her press releases.

We begin our journey on Jan 4, the day after she was sworn in. A number of Democrats sought to restrict guns on the entire Capitol campus in the Rules package. What did Lauren do? “Lauren Boebert wrote and led a letter…”

So, about @RepBoebert’s newest fan in the pictures from her trip to Midland, TX, with @AugustPfluger. The one in the Trump/DeSantis 2024 shirt. When Rep Pfluger posted a link to an article covering it, of course I had to read it. (long thread)

Dear Democratic Senators and Representatives,
I say this with love in my heart, but y’all need to get moving. The electorate has moved heaven and earth (and Georgia) to bring you to power. We did that because we believed you will lead, restore justice, and return sanity to the political landscape.

You’ve done some of that. Thank you. You need to do more. It is not enough to announce investigations; you must investigate and publicly announce the results of those investigations.

We need you to worry less about “messaging.” We’ve heard all the talk we

A special edition of the #BoebertReportCard! Time to take a look at @RepBoebert’s legislative effectiveness. These are the bills she’s introduced since taking office in January. Now in fairness, the House of Representatives currently has a Democratic majority, so [thread] she’d have to do something like reach across the aisle to get anything passed, and we all know she’d rather shout across the aisle, but even more telling is how few of her fellow Republicans she can round up as cosponsors. [Narrator’s voice: not many].

It seems like it was only yesterday (Narrator's voice, it was yesterday) that @RepBoebert tweeted "You can’t rewrite history by simply lying!" Now Lauren's trying to delete all evidence of her stupid tweet this morning. But we won't let her forget, will we? Samuel Adams, not John Image Also, some fine work was done with this meme... we must not lose it

Welcome to the first part of the #LaurenBoebertLies summary.

Lauren’s favorite video of herself is with a life-size cardboard cutout of Kamala Harris. It must be, because she’s had it pinned on her @RepBoebert page since June 8. The joke is, much of her own life is a cardboard invention.

She lies about her parentage. She said her mom was “divorced” while they were in Florida, but there’s no record of her mom being married or divorced in Florida.

But her lineage IS kinda interesting. Her mother tried suing Stan Lee the wrestler for child
