Currently listening to the opinion. Unsurprisingly, the Court minimizes the scope and scale of the October 7 attack and the launching of a 7-front war against Israel. At the same time it uses hyperbolic language to describe Israeli military operations, ignoring the massive Hamas tunnel network and destruction resulting from its embedding in civilian infrastructure.
Your reminder that the ICJ is the UN’s court. Its “evidence” primarily relies on UN reports (even from the likes of UNRWA and Francesca Albanese), accepts UN claims as a given without verification, and will not do anything to disrupt the UN’s desire to manipulate and maintain control over the aid system in Gaza. There will be no accountability from the ICJ or any associated organs for the role of UN agencies and employees in aiding and abetting Hamas’ military build-up and the war. It will do nothing, unless forced by US, Israel, and other responsible states, to prevent Hamas and other terrorists from taking over again.

Nothing is more credible than a UNHRC report co-authored by a guy who thinks Jews control social media. 🤡🤡
I don’t think I’ve ever heard so many lies and gaslighting as I’ve heard from these three. Chris Sodoti - (an absolutely nasty character who when I approached him privately in June 2022 at the UNHRC to ask if we could discuss why it was harmful to the Jewish community after he flippantly said Jews throw around accusations of antisemitism like rice at a wedding, exploded in a rage “We’ve heard enough from you!” and stormed off in a tantrum) - with a straight face at the press conference actually claimed “The Israeli media consistently wipes out critical information” about Israel and Gaza. Pillay said almost the same thing. It is an absolute blatant lie and gaslighting of the highest order as anyone who knows anything about Israeli media. This is simply evil being platformed by the UN and paid for with your taxes. It is not credible fact-finding!!!!

A few months ago, we at @NGOmonitor discovered a 2022 British Consulate-General in Jerusalem document outlining a plan for UK humanitarian support from 2022-26. One of the programs discussed was funding for UNICEF-administered cash assistance in Gaza. The document was eye-popping! 1/
It discusses how its proposed humanitarian aid plan “will operate in a challenging, high-risk environment” and “the risks to the success of the programme are moderate, with major risks of actual or perceived diversion of humanitarian aid.” 2/

A disgraceful day. Little known facts about Res 3379. It was authored by Fayez Sayegh, a Syrian, and the Kuwaiti UN representative who was hired in the mid-60s to lead the newly-formed PLO’s propaganda unit. Sayegh was an antisemite who pushed the settler-colonial lie.
Sayegh hijacked UN plans regarding events to combat racism by tabling 3379. He nearly scuttled a major conference being organized by African nations. Many of the countries rejected 3379 and spoke out strongly against the calumny against Zionism.

Both the ICJ and the ICC Office of the Prosecutor have based their decisions on this false report. What’s the remedy for the damage done?
These international institutions have an on-going problem w relying on activists and ideologues for their source material as opposed to real subject matter experts. Much UN documentation is based on unverified claims that simply get repeatedly laundered in other reports.
