Former Colleton Co Clerk Becky Hill arrives for her hearing at Calhoun Co Court this morning. She faces charges of perjury, obstruction of justice and misconduct in office.Hill oversaw the 2023 Alex #Murdaugh double murder trial in Colleton Co. @criminallyobsessed @abcnews4 Court is expected to start shortly- Ms. Hill is with her defense atty. These charges stem from a year long investigation by SLED into Hill’s alleged improper actions. Among other charges, she’s accused of allowing sealed evidence to be shown to media and then lying about it under oath in court during another of Murdaugh’s post-conviction hearings.
