Lineage of Jadhavraos

Chakravarti Shankardeva's rebellion is known and his fight against the Khilji sultanate.

His brother Bimbadeva established his empire in present day Mumbai.

There are inscriptions which state Bimbasthan(Mumbai) & even Mahanubhava literature mentions it.

Even Mahikavatichi Bakhar written in 1448 AD mentions the whole story of Maharaj Bimbadeva.

In this same bakhar Jadhavraos are grouped along with Bhosales, Dabhades, Ghorpade, etc. & it mentions them as 96 kulin Kshatriyas.

Hence 96 kulin Maratha kshatriyas only.
