A day before my 30-day ban, I complained that I was being mass-reported (by bots) & I said I won’t break to bullying.

I didn’t break, but Twitter's automatic ban system sure did – I probably should have gone private the moment the visibility limits began.

But honestly? Sometimes it feels good to be right, even if it isn’t the smartest move.

And now? I guess it is time to take a deep dive thread at Twitter’s ban & support systems to determine whether they’re just or unjust, wise or foolish, and how they could be fixed 🧵Image Issue number 1: I got banned as a result of mass reporting over a post that exclaimed that I would “destroy a Satanic temple”. That post was replying to a video game’s trailer (@WhereWindsMeet_); it wasn’t “violent speech”, as Twitter informed me by email. Image
