The 3 Waters Reform? Well, unlike so many other people, I spent time reading through the proposal. My thoughts.
TLDR: it's a sensible response to aging pipes in multiple communities and no 'em uppity Maaaori won't be taking away your rights.
- Aging pipes is driving things 1/n
- multiple communities either currently have or will have significant problems with pipes that need replacing, and secondly, meeting increased standards for water quality.
- Second factor driving the reform is the fact that 4? 5? people died in HB from campylobacter 2/n

For those worried about the 'legality' of #liberatethelane rally on the harbour bridge I note the following;
The clip-ons were meant to be closed 12 noon to 3pm & had been publicly advertised as such - to cater to the rally. Unfortunately, someone stuffed up 1/n
and didn't check with organisers when the rally would finish - at around 11am & realise that cyclists wld simply move onto the bridge. Had the proper time for the clip-ons to be closed been followed (11am) then things would have ben tickety boo. 2/n
