🧵 Al-Ahli Baptist Hospital explosion: after more footage has emerged, it is clear that the missile that both @AlJazeera and @GeoConfirmed have said is a Palestinian rocket is likely an Israeli Iron dome interceptor, here's why. 👇

First, lets show the claims:

@GeoConfirmed thread which insists that the footage it adresses shows a rocket launched from Palestinian groups.

@AlJazeera investigation that claims the rocket is launched from Gaza.

🧵 Russian propaganda: an investigation of a successful Russian attempt to fake a new Ukrainian T-64BV Zr. 2017 capture from Kharkiv in 2022.

I have prepared as much evidence as I can into three sections: Context, proof of being the same loss, and discussion of intention. 1/x Context: this Ukrainian T-64BV Zr. 2017 was initially captured and photographed somewhere in Kharkiv Oblast around the time of 12 April, 2022. These photos were uploaded to the razved_dozer telegram channel.

🧵 Ukrainian Photo-op: It appears that a Russian T-72A that was captured in March, 2022, was possibly used to fake an image of a Russian soldier surrendering.

On 20 March, 2022, an image of this capture was first uploaded + (now deleted) tiktok video:
derzym.wordpress.com/2022/03/20/%D0… ImageImageImage On March 22 (two days later), it was posted again after being modified in a few ways - ERA was removed, the turret was largely covered and the barrel paint was changed (among other things).

It's 2023; with deteriorating US-Mexican cartel relations, Russia backs the cartels and starts a proxy war. Using secret cargo-submarines, they transport Iskanders and Buks to Mexico. The F22 stands no match for Buk supremacy, and what ensues is the guerrilla invasion of Texas. As the cartels (and a few little green men brigades) face off against like 30 US Army brigade combat teams, Russian begins their master plan in Alaska; the few remaining combat-capable 'elite' VDV parachute across Alaska in their stealth configured Ilyushin Il-76.

I am skeptical of this evaluation for a couple of reasons. First, is that pretty much all of the vehicles involved with the operation passed over this trench area. It would be the obvious place to go if you were retreating as it is one of two paths out. - ImageImage Second reason is that there is dirt in the tread - contrary to the thread and the camera angle. It may not be as much as you would expect, but considering that all other vehicles passed through here and they have similar levels of dirt, it shouldn't surprise you. ImageImageImageImage

Haven't seen much discussion about whether the Patriot system may have been responsible for the recent Russian aircraft losses, so here is my take.

This looks to me like a possible use case for PAC-2 from well within Ukrainian territory using link16.🧵 First and foremost, PAC-2 have a range of up to 160 km, which puts a lot of Ukrainian territory within PAC-2 range. There is enough distance from the border to put a patriot launcher without significantly increasing risk. Image

Map update; thanks to @elmustek, a lot of visible losses have been added in the east of the city, many of which have general identification (BMP, BTR, Ural etc.).

Any vehicle which can be identified in a general way is marked as blue i's, which I recommend looking at first. Image Losses I consider interesting:
1. BMP and another vehicle I don't know.
47.0870692, 37.6707657

2. BMP and Unknown IFV
47.094596, 37.637876

3. Possible BTR
47.097729, 37.624755

4. Tank

I have looked through all the known Mariupol losses, and decided to make a map.

Using @WarSpotting geolocations, known Russian losses are in red, known Ukrainian in yellow, and currently unknown are in blue.

earth.google.com/earth/d/1OWYAA…
1/ Image The maps going to need a lot more sanitation - its a start (I made it today). To note: I am also marking likely undamaged losses (blue star) and intend to locate as many military vehicles as possible.

For every WS loss, I included its # reference. /2
