After listening to an interview with @ScottGottliebMD where he referenced @OpenTable data, I wanted to explore Texas and it’s restaurant activity. Here’s a graph mapping the percentage change of reservations from the same dates in 2019 and 2020, including the phases of reopening. That spike in the 75% capacity is from Father’s Day (June 21) which is the closest Texas restaurant reservations have returned to the 2019 values since the shutdown (-6%). The next closest? June 20. (-41.55%).
