Education is a governmental institution, and it is the duty of an Islamic government to raise youth and adolescents — at least up to a certain level, such as through the end of high school — with knowledge, skills, professions, moral teachings, and strong faith.

This is a responsibility.

The idea that has occasionally surfaced — even within the education system itself, as I recall — suggesting that parts of the education system should be outsourced to various groups or entities, effectively creating a fragmented, feudal-like system within education, is completely unacceptable.

“Regarding talks in Oman. These negotiations are just one of many responsibilities of the Foreign Ministry — and that’s the key point I want to emphasize. The ministry has dozens of duties, and this is only one of them.

Don’t tie the country’s entire fate to these talks. That’s my main message. The mistake we made during the JCPOA process must not be repeated here. Back then, we conditioned everything in the country on the outcome of the negotiations — and that was a mistake.

According to official reports and the Iranian Statistics Center, nearly 30% of our agricultural products go to waste. Often, exporting them also faces significant challenges.

In advanced countries, the solution has been to use nuclear technology for irradiation, which helps prevent spoilage and removes residual pests, increasing the shelf life of these products.

When 130 million tons of agricultural goods are produced annually in the country, 30% waste amounts to about 40 million tons — a huge figure that affects the national economy, household livelihoods, and those active in the agriculture and food industries.

We’ve begun addressing this by designing and building the necessary irradiation systems. As promised, we have started establishing centers in different parts of the country, and by God’s grace, we’ve already created capacity to process around 500,000 tons per year. This is a stepping stone toward meeting the nation’s full needs.

It’s also an opportunity for the public and private sectors to invest — to boost exports, improve food security, and contribute to public health.

This is yet another benefit of nuclear energy, which, by God’s grace, has now been laid out, and the groundwork is in place for it to move forward rapidly.”
