For a long time I've been subtly pushing a message of the importance of balance in politics.
How very far left or far right views will so often be met with a reaction and/or play into the hands of the opposition 1/
and even to hostile/enemy states.
It's one of a few reasons why Corbyn was always going to be such a disaster for UK politics.
It's why Starmer (who I have issues with over Brexit) was so successful in the recent election. 2/

I understand the feeling about Gaza because there have been some horrible images coming from there. But the behaviour of so many 'free Palestine' supporters on Ukraine is pretty sickening and not the behaviour of good people.
These people like to call out hypocrisy, and again I can understand why to some degree (when it comes to Western leaders). But Ukraine and Gaza shouldn't be compared.
