I've been all over the state, and am very close to people on both ends of the political spectrum. Everyone is sick of covid, and while the left is predominantly more "afraid" of the virus and would probably accept further lockdowns, the majority of people just want to work again. I'm not looking forward to the number of ODs, suicides, and alcohol-related deaths that would result if our state shut down for the whole winter to the degree that other states/countries have done.
