Cārvāka (or Cāru-vāka - literally means sweet-tongued), is the Indian Material School. Aka Lokāyata (Worldly Ones).
It is a school of thought that argues that pleasure is the only intrinsic good. It arose approximately 6th century BCE and died out in the 14th century CE. The Cārvākas maintained that the Hindu scriptures are false, that the priests are liars, that there is no afterlife, and that pleasure should be the aim of living. Unlike other Indian schools of philosophy, the Cārvākas argued that there is nothing wrong with sensual indulgence.

केशवं पतितं दृष्ट्वा, पाण्डवा हर्षनिर्भराः ।
रुदन्ति कौरवाः सर्वे, हा हा केशव केशव ॥

Seeing the fall of Keśava, the Pāṇḍavas jumped with joy. All the Kauravas cried aloud, "O! O! Keśava! Keśava!" Clearly, there is something amiss here.
The Pāṇḍavas are such dear friends and admirers of Kṛṣṇa that they would obviously not rejoice in his fall.
The Kauravas hate Kṛṣṇa so much that they would surely not wail at his collapse.

In Classical Sanskrit, the styles of stotras are many.

There are -
pañcakam (comprising five ślokas),
ṣaṭkam (comprising six ślokas),
aṣṭakam (comprising eight ślokas),
śatakam (with a hundred ślokas),
sāhasrī (with a 1,000 ślokas).

Nirvāṇaṣaṭkam is a ṣaṭkam. All these are generally simple.
Rarely some of them sometimes contain long compounds leaning towards artificiality, especially when the subject matter is Tantric.
Some of such examples are -
Kanakadhārā-Stotra,
Mahiṣāsuramardinī-Stotra,
Saundaryalaharī.
