The thought of Kiyoomi having a child seemed highly unlikely, Kiyoomi inviting Atsumu into his life? Even less so…

Okay- An arranged marriage love square where Skts are betrothed to one another, but both of them have found love somewhere else.

Both of them have been exchanging letters with their pen pal, someone they had never met before. Someone they can both be so open with, so vulnerable Atsumu does not want to marry Sakusa because he fell in love with ‘Omi’ on his first letter. The way he spoke, the way he articulates himself, his raw openness and opinionated way.

Okay so I know we’ve all probably seen the quote that is like:
A villain would sacrifice the world for you.
A hero would sacrifice you for the world.

But what about a hero who becomes a villain? A hero that lives to a strong moral code. Sacrifice one for the greater good is not an opportunity they would pass up. They would be willing to sacrifice loved ones, family, friends, if it meant saving the world.

But then they meet their person, their soulmate, their world.

Kiyoomi was exhausted, he had been exhausted for almost 10 months now. Ever since his ex dropped off his newborn daughter. He was in over his head with her, having not the slightest idea what to do with such a small human, but he was lucky. His friends and family were all there for him, helping him learn and gifting him tools he didn’t even think to buy.

Kiyoomi has never been one to celebrate his birthday. Growing up he had felt nothing but disappointment each passing year.

He was 5 when he asked his classmates to come over for a party. He was so excited! He had on his best little suit. He waited excitedly all night by the front door.

But nobody came. It was the first time he had experienced such disappointment in his tiny little body. He remembers falling asleep by the window, and waking up in bed.

Sakusa has a secret family.

The team find out after 3 and a half years of him joining the team, after a handful of them represent Japan at their home Olympic games.

Sakusa Kiyoomi is a father. At least, that’s what Kotarou thinks.

You see, he and Kiyoomi were a bit closer than first glance. They attended the same college, played on the same collegiate team, even took a few classes together.
