@ChathamHouse When I questioned Mahmood Yakubu's academic qualifications & his sincerity a few weeks ago, it appeared extreme. With the tribunal decision on the Osun State elections, with particular regard to alleged over-voting, how are we now to trust ANYTHING Yakubu says? The man got hundreds of billions for the elections & went to buy "tech" that fell off the back of a jalopy. I have been saying for years that a simple chip & pin card, with registration, printing & issuance done through the banks, cross-referencing the BVN database would have....

@PeterObi's investment of Anambra State funds in SABMiller is a commendable but not unique idea. Brigadier Mobolaji Johnson, on the advice of my Uncle, invested in 10% of Julius Berger shares, & 10% of Cappa & D'Alberto. He also invested in Eko Holiday Inn, now known as Eko Hotel "Tinubu" met all these investments intact in 1999. He started an investigation of Abacha's sale of shares in Eko Hotel to the Chaghourys in 1999, but the result of the enquiry never came out. The fate of the late General Johnson's investments in Cappa & D'Alberto & JB is unknown.

Jandor was at my home a few months ago, seeking my support, having "won" the PDP ticket. I asked for his manifesto, & his answer was, "we will build the Lagos of our dreams". Asked to define that, he said "a Lagos where Lagosians will be in charge of their commonwealth". Prodded further, he had NOTHING ELSE! Asked for his manifesto, he retorted that a teammwete still writing it! I, Babatunde Gbadamosi, should come & join his team of "teknorats", to help write his manifesto.

The Àgbàdo crew keep boasting about Baba Alagbado's "increase" of Lagos' IGR. He never used it to provide the basic utilities that would have improved Lagosiabs' lives immensely. If he had lit up just 8 out of the 20 LGAs, provided water & fixed the roads & drains, Lagos would... ...be vastly different. We would definitely not be consistently on the list of the world's most unliveable cities, with cities like Kabul, Afghanistan, doing better than Lagos! Oh, the shame!😭😭
