Magee has faced 53 years of wrongful imprisonment that ties way back to the persecution of George and Jonathan Jackson, & Angela Davis.

Over 100 million Americans have diabetes or pre-diabetes.

Cuba has a diabetes treatment that could save tens of thousands of lives.

The US is currently blocking that treatment.

1/9 The treatment is called Heberprot-P and it reverses the effect of diabetic foot ulcers, a common complication for diabetics.

Foot ulcers are wounds that require amputation if left untreated.

Diabetics who get amputations live an average of just five years after the amputation.

You probably saw this viral Instagram post claiming that the Iranian government sentenced 15,000 protesters to death.

The post got almost 900,000 likes before being taken down for false info but the incident proved how disinformation can be used to manufacture consent for war 1/ Image The graphic was based on false reporting based on a Newsweek article.

The Newsweek article cited a CNN article as proof that Iran’s parliament voted to execute 15,000 protestors. The only problem? The CNN article said nothing about 15,000 executions. Image

On Oct 2nd 17-year-old Erik Cantu was shot by Officer James Brennand in San Antonio. He was shot while parked in a fast food parking lot, eating a hamburger. Erik is still fighting for his life. After community action, Brennand was fired and charged with aggravated assault. Today, Oct 25th Erik Cantu’s family spoke for the first time to the press in front of Bexar County Courthouse demanding full justice on a criminal, civil, and financial level.

U.S. sanctions prevent Cuba from importing construction materials that they need to rebuild.

1/7 The sanctions against Cuba are a relic of the Cold War and were imposed immediately after the Cuban people overthrew US-backed dictator, Fulgencio Batista.

The sanctions prohibit US companies from selling to Cuba, and block foreign companies that trade with Cuba from US markets.
