I’m a California lawyer.
I grew up in California’s San Joaquin Valley.
I know the workers. I know the fields.
In fact, my father made me and my siblings work picking grapes one late summer to teach us the value of work.
I’ve seen illegal immigration firsthand for decades — from the fields to the courtrooms.
Both parties have lied about this for years.
It’s time to tell the truth. 👇
1️⃣ The Workers
•Most aren’t violent criminals.
•They work brutally hard jobs.
•Many have lived here for decades.
•Built families. Paid taxes. Raised U.S. citizen kids.
•And they’ve been ruthlessly exploited—I know this firsthand from seeing all the legal cases through the years—and employers are at fault here just as much as the illegal worker.
Lower pay.
No benefits.
No legal protections.
No voice to complain.
Living constantly in fear of deportation.
