I have been hearing about how young people are leaving the church in droves since I was a young person. I'm sure by some statistical measure this is true. And I suspect it is more true in some denominations than others. (1/6)
But I also know many 20 and 30-something people who love Jesus and his church. Churches all over the country are full of bourgeoning adults (current or recent young people, depending on your perspective) eager to follow Jesus and grow as disciples. (2/6)

I overheard one Christian man offering advice to another Christian man about appropriate sexual desires for his girlfriend/fiancee. Man 1 referred to sexual desire as "lizard brain, only natural." I have some thoughts that I will share here because interrupting them seemed rude.
First, sexual desire is “natural,” but to call it “lizard brain” is profoundly unchristian. Sexual desire is God-given and about so much more than mere evolutionary procreation. It is wired into humanity, but not as a mere animalistic desire.

For those saying “rebellion against the government is not Christlike,” would you say the same to believers in places where Christianity is outlawed? They live rebellion daily to follow Jesus.
If the law opposes Jesus the law cannot be followed. That is not the same as causing chaos or anarchy. It is not the same as being a poor citizen. It means we follow Christ in spite of some laws and in conjunction with most.
