THREAD (1) I've seen a few questions being posted asking why RAM members aren't being prosecuted in California. The simple answer is that the federal charges involve traveling by interstate commerce (crossing state lines) to commit alleged crimes, namely rioting, in Virginia. (2) The original four (Daley, Gillen, Miselis, and White) were indicted by a Federal Grand Jury convened in the Western District of Virginia (coincidentally in Charlottesville) on October 10, 2018. The federal charges derive from alleged rioting that occurred at Unite the Right.
