Ok here's my take on "The Miss"

Preface, Parkey needs a new start, or perhaps to save his mental health & retire. I mean this sincerely & will explain.

Now, I don't blame Scales, O'Donnell, Parkey (that's right to a degree I don't blame him), Coach Tabor or Coach Nagy.
#DaBears I don't blame Ryan Pace for signing him (albeit an expensive out if he didn't cut it).

Why?

Below you see The Johari Window model. I won't explain all, because there are seminars online, articles, even YouTube clips explaining. But this season, Cody Parkey moved

I'm going to say this once, because it's Christmas and it's a rant.

I don't care what Pat Mahomes does, or Deshaun Watson, I'm not interested in comparing them, or second guessing Ryan Pace anymore...

We've had a shit show team for several years now, we've had QBs who are either ineptitude, or a talented narcissist who is uncoachable (see turnover).

We've been the whipping boy, the laughing stock & a source of amusement for others...

@Iamvick There's college & college if you follow?

Unlike the salary cap in Pro Football, there is a limit on scholarships (full ride) each team can give. Best recruits go to best schools (academic or pro-rated or sometimes both).

Because of this there are often mismatches of talent ctd. @Iamvick But that said, talented coaches often get their first big step in lower colleges. They bring great coaching & hunger to their teams & programs elevate.

The atmosphere at college games is massively different, even at lower tiers.

There are often kids who weren't recruited ctd..

I doubt that Coaches Nagy or Belichick will mind or read this. Here are my thoughts in a thread about Bears Vs Pats pre-game. I'll pin it for anyone to "I told you so" later. (Prepared to eat crow).

So what I've seen about the Pats so far.

Pats snap the ball real quick off motions.

Most of Gronk, Hogan and Gordon's yards are air yards,

Have to believe Brady isn't going to get time for that.

White is targeted on flat routes and swings from backfield. Corners in zone and OLBs robbing flats need to be aware, it's a tough ask for a MLB to get

So for those that missed pre game, I'm going to quote tweet my keys for our D pre game, with post game goggles on.

Read on Tweet 1.

Under zones are particularly important to "rob" when facing a back up, likely to have quick passes etc get the ball out of his hands. We knew Wilson is a YAC thread, squeezing zones and running robbers to him as a play side is a nice adjustment
