There is a push currently to cut Theology & other Liberal Arts from core curricula of Catholic colleges & universities. One of the essential responses to the bad theology driving much of the racist and anti-Semitic terrorism we are experiencing must be good theology. The common good demands that we drive out twisted understandings of Christianity with those grounded in love and in historical and cultural knowledge. Students come with less and less knowledge of religious history and teachings. This leaves them open to false claims.
