Americans don’t care about Khashoggi, a foreign Islamist killed in another country. The question is why are the media making such a big deal about it. They’re forcing us to care about a person nobody ever heard of until a week ago. Is it Iran trying to stop liberalization in Saudi Arabia? Is it because Khashoggi wrote newspaper articles and therefore is part of the protected class?

There is a lot of fire and brimstone directed at the media today for their blurry eyed squee of North Korea. Their hate for Trump pushes them to praise the most awful of regimes on planet earth. I get the disgust and frustration, but this isn't new. Sure we had Duranty and Papa Stalin getting a Pulitzer, but that's not when the worm turned in my opinion towards the media. The Duranty disgrace took place long before I was born.
